As I packed up my camera bag the night before my first wedding of the 2009 year, I glanced out my window and sadly watched the rain pitter-patter onto the sidewalk. Not only was I nervous that this was the first wedding of the year, I was terrified that it was going to rain for Kaori and Jeremiah’s wedding day! That night I snuggled into my covers and said my prayers…then added a little, “PS. God please let there be sunshine tomorrow!” The next morning I rubbed my eyes and peeked out my window to see the typical cloudy Seattle sky, BUT it wasn’t raining so I was very happy! As the day progressed and it was time for Kaori and Jeremiah to get their fierce model faces on for me…the sun decided to come out and play and there were the biggest white fluffy clouds scattered throughout the sky! It was truly one of the prettiest days I have ever seen in Seattle and Golden Gardens Bath House was the perfect location.
Kaori and Miah, you two were so much fun to photograph! Your love for one another was easily seen through my camera and it made the day so enjoyable. And let me just say Kaori…you were such a trooper for shooting in that cold weather! You would never know just how cold it was that day by looking at the photos! I can’t thank you two enough for choosing me as your wedding photographer, it was truly a blessing to be a part of your special day. And a big thanks to my great friend Kelsey for assisting me on this beautiful day!
Look how stinkin’ gorgeous this bride is!

This beautiful detail shot was captured by Kelsey! I love it!

They are just the cutest!

This is probably one of my favorites from the day, Kaori was smiling ear to ear the entire day! So lovely.

This wedding party was the best![]()

Are you kidding me?! Check out that sky people!

Yes. I really found this red heart-shaped rock (or something) in the sand!
Look at those skills!

This kid was absolutely adorable! Couldn’t help but put him on the blog!

There is nothin’ wrong with gettin’ down with your bad self in the middle of the day!
