This morning I woke up to a wonderful email from Janie over at The Bride’s Cafe! She informed me that she featured Fancy and Maurice’s Engagement Session on her blog! Woo-hoo! This is really exciting to me, mmmkay. Janie is super awesome and super sweet, and also has a pretty super fantastic blog full of inspiration for anyone involved in the wedding industry! FANCY & MAURICE / ENGAGED

The day is finally here! A couple weeks ago I did a sneak peek blog post on this couple and they left me the most wonderful comments. Made me tear up a little actually. There is no better feeling than when your clients absolutely love their photos. When they tell me I’ve captured “them”, I know I have done my job! I am so excited to introduce this amazing couple to everyone. I connected with Fancy through Mars Hill Church and we immediately clicked! This girl has the most creative mind and she just has a kind, loving heart that is so infectious. The day of our shoot, Fancy and Maurice came over to my place so that I could help Fancy with her hair and make up…once I met Maurice, I knew this shoot would be perfect. These two have a connection that is so deep and their love for God simply inspires me. I cannot wait to hear all about their wedding and watch how their marriage grows. Not only am I grateful that I got to spend the whole day hanging out with these two and capturing their love…I also made some really great friends that I know I can turn to.

So without further ado, please meet Fancy and Maurice. Be sure to leave these two some love, they totally deserve it!!

We based this shoot around “newspaper”. Fancy made everything by hand and I have to say…I was VERY impressed! You will see more newspaper details on their next post!

This was the cutest. Fancy started reading her journal and it had some cute things written about Maurice. They just started giggling, I love them.

I love the way Maurice looks at Fancy. So cute.

SUCKER FOR A SALE.

I’m a sucker for any type of special or sale.

Me and TV infomercials are like bff’s. We really do have a love/hate relationship. They always get me hook, line, and sinker when they say, “…AND on top of all this, call within the next 10 minutes and you’ll receive DOUBLE of everything!” When in reality…no one NEEDS double of anything sold on an infomercial. I’m so horrible that even if I don’t have any use for an item I see on sale…if its THAT great of sale I will simply get it just because.
Bad, bad, bad.

Enough about my personal struggles with infomercials. Since I love specials so much…I wanted to offer a special to all my special blog readers! Woo-hoo!
I am looking forward to the great weddings I have coming this summer, but I would love to take the time to do some more lifestyle sessions with you all! So give me a call or shoot me an email and let’s chat!

ANYTIME SESSION / MONIC

You know that friend you’ll always have in your life, no matter what happens or no matter how much distance is between you two? That one friend that even though you don’t get a chance to talk to every week, you know that when you do talk…it’s as if not even a day went by. You just pick up where you left off. Well that is definitely Monic’ in my life. I could go on and on about how much I love this girl. She is one of the strongest people I know. No matter what is going on in her life, her attitude always seems to stay positive. She is always very kind and hates the drama just like me. It’s strange because even though we live about 5 hours apart, I still feel like she is one of my closest friends. And I know it will always be that way. I am so thankful to have her in my life.

So thank you Monic’ for constantly reminding me that things will always get better. You’ve taught me so much throughout our…let’s see here…13 years of friendship I believe! And thank you for making the trip to Seattle to hang out…it’s probably the most fun I’ve had in quite awhile. Love you!
