Oh how I love this time of year! I love getting out the winter sweaters, buying new winter boots, sipping on hot apple cider, lighting the Christmas scented candles, listening to Christmas music before Thanksgiving was even here (yes, I’m one of those annoying people), shopping, shopping, OH and did I mention, SHOPPING?!
Besides all those wonderful things I just love how happy people seem to be during this season…if only it lasted all year long right? I mean I’ve gone this entire month without someone honking at me and flipping me the bird…well ALMOST…hee hee, it wasn’t my fault I swear! But most of all I love being able to be with all my loved ones and celebrate or Savior, Jesus Christ. It’s just a wonderful time!
So every year right after Thanksgiving, my family will pack on the winter clothes and head down to the same guy and buy our beautiful Christmas tree like we do every year! Well….our GUY we go to EVERY year randomly decided to just NOT sell Christmas trees this year! How lame right? We were so sad, so we tried calling all these different places to see if anyone was selling Christmas trees…the ONLY place in our area that was selling them was….ugh, BI-MART! Poop. We were sure that all we would find were those sad, wimpy trees that look like they hopped right out of the Charlie Brown book. BUT to our surprise we found the perfect one! So to all you fancy people who go hiking in the mountains and chop down your own pretty tree….don’t hate. Woo-Hoo go BI-MART!
Now going back home and decorating the tree is probably my favorite part! First we have to beeeeeeg my dad to turn off the football game or our family favorite, COPS. Painful I know. But once he agrees, we blast Bing Crosby and get busy decorating! This year I decided to kind of document this process. As you can see…my sister and I have a little too much fun for the ages we are
. That is okay though, extra cookie points from Santa.

Haha, to anyone who knows my family…this kind of behavior is totally normal!

VoilĂ !

My favorite.

So this year my friend Ai and I (hee hee I can never say that without giggling!) decided to do something creative and crafty for the Christmas presents we give to our friends this year! We are making all sorts of hair accessories…and I can’t say anymore than that! So any friends of ours reading this right now, pretend you are surprised when you get our gifts
! This is actually a hair clip I made for my friend Rylee from KCB Photography who had a baby shower on Sunday. I can’t wait to see her new little girl wear this, so cute!

Does your family have any fun Christmas traditions? Or do you have pictures of your Christmas tree? Send them my way, I love seeing all the different traditions families have!!
Happy Holidays everyone!
