Weddings are different all around the world.

The people. The traditions. The mood.
I’ve been lucky enough to photograph all sorts of weddings and I love it.
But what I love most is that no matter how different each of these weddings are, there is still one thing that remains constant.
The one thing that matters the most.

Love.

As cheesy as it sounds, it’s so true. The main reason for every wedding is to celebrate love.
That is the one thing about weddings that will never get old to me.

With all that being said, the stereotype of “southern hospitality” is absolutely true haha. Everyone I met during my stay in Tennessee was so warm, sweet, and welcoming. Kristen and Houston’s family and friends made me feel like part of the family. I am so thankful for their kind hearts. Kristen and Houston’s wedding day was so relaxed and easy-going. And any wedding that serves yummy southern food…fried chicken and peach cobbler…is my kind of wedding. Such a joyful day.

Being able to hang out with my clients in a relaxed, go-with-the-flow type setting is so important to me. It’s when I really get to know my couples…
I learn what *he* does to make *her* smile and giggle. I get to see the way they show affection. It’s a beautiful thing.
There is no pressure, we simply walk around, explore, and talk about the most random topics. I love this.

Jessica and Walter are the perfect example. Choose a location and let’s go explore. Done.
Let’s end our shoot drinking Crown, roasting mallows, and watching the most breathtaking sunset…
Done and done.
