Alison - Hello, I always introduce myself as Alison, although I’m known to my family and childhood friends as Ali. I will smile as I shake your hand, but I really never listen when other people tell me their names (I feel really bad about this later). I am a cancer, believer, wanna be lovah, and a friend to all animals except small dogs wearing sweaters. I am notoriously late (and a bad speller), love old movies (Grant, Bogart, Hepburn), and I have a some what unhealthy obsession with the beach and cupcakes. I’d like to say right off the bat, that “I am a photographer”, but I still have a hard time accepting that title. Mostly because I am no where near the quality and caliber of so many photographers like yourself, that I “stalk” on the internet. I believe I found you on Clickin’ Moms? If not from the link to a link to a link somewhere along the lines not long ago. I shoot with a consumer level DSLR, the EOS Xti, but have aspirations of a more professional Nikon if I won the lottery. I really enjoy blogs like yours because they provide inspiration and for that I am eternally grateful. Do stop by when you have time, I know my images are mediocre, but I take pride in them simply because I learn something new with each shot. I improve with each adventure.
