Have you ever met a couple that makes you automatically say, “Aaaawww!” ? That is Alicia and Jesse for you.
Alicia and Jesse have the kindest hearts and a love that is quiet but so strong. These two have been dating for 11 years! Yep, 11 years! So obviously, I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day come this June! This engagement shoot was so much fun and I can’t thank these two enough for traveling away from their sunshine just to come spend part of their weekend in the rain with me. Even though the weather was not what any photographer would hope for, we had a lot of fun playing and discovering little areas in the Sculpture Park building. Later we traveled on over to Golden Gardens…those photos will be in “Part 2″ of this session which will hit the blog soon, so be sure to come back and check them out!
After Alicia and Jesse’s shoot I had a feeling of pure joy rush through my body. It was truly unexplainable, but a feeling I knew I wanted to feel again. Then I was quietly reminded by God that this is what it’s all about. This is why I left Gonzaga to pursue my dreams. This is why I had to struggle living here in Seattle. This is exactly why I chose to be a photographer. There is nothing better than being invited into a couple’s love story…To be given the privilege to photograph the love they have for one another is such a blessing.
