What a week it has been! I am so ready to get away this weekend and some time with people I adore in the middle of nowhere.
But there is still lots to do when I return!

Photos to be edited, posts to be blogged, albums to be designed, emails to be returned, dreams to be dreamt, goals to be made, tea to be sipped…so much to do and so little time! Well before I get too ahead of myself, I thought I’d share this fun (and somewhat embarrassing) video that Jordan of NicholeJordan Photography created during a little photography shoot-out. This shoot-out was pretty fun! Jessica Feely, her husband, Nichole and Jordan, and myself all got together to have some fun and create images that we could use however we wanted. This was so great for me. I definitely needed this little break to just clear my head, create, and be surrounded by people who just get me. I would love to continuing doing this with other artists.

Meet Stephanie Reeder.
Stephanie and I hit it off immediately! Like I said in her Sneak Peek post, once she pulled that antique chair out of her trunk, I was smitten. : )
Stephanie is not only a fun, stylish lady, she is also an awesome photographer in the Olympia area. I was so happy when she contacted me to take some updated photos for her to use for her website/blog/business! I can’t wait to see how she uses them.

Thank you Stephanie for traveling up here for your shoot! I had so much fun and so glad to have made a new friend.

MANU & DANIEL / EXPECTING.

Manu and Daniel’s full post is finally here and I am so excited to share it with you all. I’ll have to admit, this was basically my first “maternity/pregnancy/expecting/whatever-you-wanna-call-it” session and I was a little nervous. At the same time I was so excited to be a part of this celebration for the little girl named Clara that will be here in October! Manu and Daniel are simply beautiful, inside and out. Their excitement for this child and their love for one another is so evident…I felt truly blessed to be a part of this. It really just made me think about the moment where a couple realizes that it’s no longer going to be just the two of them…that within months they will be bringing a child into this world. It is truly beautiful and such a blessing!

Manu and Daniel, thank you so much for inviting me into this special time in your lives. I am so excited to meet little Clara and to watch your family grow. I hope you enjoy these pictures! Love you both.

I loved Manu’s idea of starting our session is this great book store on Capitol Hill.
The kids section was so cute and it’s true…this little girl is going to be a princess!

So we could not have asked for a more perfect day for this session. Seattle gave us some wonderful sun, so what better way to start than at Molly Moon’s Ice Cream!

We then moved the shoot to Discovery Park where the light was OH-SO-YUMMY. And I fell in love with Manu’s outfit! So perfect.
